Introducing Cincinnati Chiropractor Dr. Joseph Everhart

I experienced a miracle! After a high school football injury and a car accident my health and physical fitness declined rapidly.

Dr. Everhart

Several visits to medical specialists left me no closer to understanding why I was blacking out, turning blue, losing a lot of weight and losing strength Finally, after my father's insurance provider saw all the medical bills, he suggested we try his son-in-law, a CHIROPRACTOR. Chiropractic changed my life! But, I didn't understand how, even though he explained that our BRAIN and NERVOUS SYSTEM control EVERYTHING. I thought nerves were just for pain. I went on to college at the University of Cincinnati, then on to Ohio State University with thoughts of being a physical therapist and eventually a medical doctor(possibly a surgeon). I can still recall the day in anatomy lab at Ohio State studying the nervous system and tracing the nerves from the spine to the organs and coming to that moment when the light bulb went off and I realized that "crazy" chiropractor knew what he was talking about! I called him that day and told them I was going to be a CHIROPRACTOR.

After finishing up his under graduate requirements, Dr. Everhart was accepted to chiropractic school at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During his 4 year program at Palmer, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and patient care in the Palmer College Public Clinic. During his last year at Palmer, Dr. Everhart was chosen to be in the Gold Coat Program, where he taught and assisted student doctors with their adjusting techniques. After graduating in 1986, Dr. Everhart began practice in Columbus, Oh, under the employment of Columbus Chiropractic Center for 2 years. He then moved to Cincinnati, Oh in 1988 where he established his practice. Dr. Everhart hasn't missed a day of work since 1986!

"Health, healing, and happiness are an inside job" stated Dr. Everhart. " I want patients to understand that being pain free does not necessarily mean healthy. My goal is to teach my patients to be whole, meaning they are fully expressing themselves physically, chemically, emotionally, and spiritually, and this process can continue throughout our life."

Dr. Everhart is married to Evie and has 4 children Chris, Jesse, Tony and Lindsey. ,, . He and his family do not use antibiotics and his children have not been vaccinated. (If this sounds interesting, be sure to ask Dr. Everhart to explain!) He is an avid sports fan(especially the BUCKEYES) and loves to participate in many. His hobbies include golf, skiing(water and snow), and scuba diving. Dr. Everhat never lets a Day go by without exercising, including weight lifting and various cardiovascular activities. He also gets chiropractic adjustments on a weekly basis to allow his body to continue to grow and achieve the fullest expression of life. Incidentally, Dr. Everhart has never missed a day due to illness since first practicing in 1988!

Dr. Joseph Asks some important questions of interest to Cincinnati residents - Chiropractor Cincinnati Dr. Joseph Asks...

How could chiropractic help a stomach problem?
Chiropractic works by locating and reducing areas of the spine compromising nerve communications between your brain and your body. If nerves to or from your stomach are irritated, your stomach won't work right. Chiropractors find the source of the interference, reduce it and allow your body to work as designed.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
